Serves 2-3
Ingredients:
- 1-pound ground turkey
- 2 large zucchinis, spiralized (roughly 3 cups)
- 1 egg
- ½ cup parsley, chopped
- 1 garlic clove, crushed
- 1 bottle tomato sauce, no added sugar (6g of sugar or less)
- Salt and pepper to taste
Directions:
- In a large bowl combine turkey, parsley, egg, salt, pepper, and garlic. Combine well and form meatballs.
- Add tomato sauce to a pot, or crockpot and let heat up slightly. Add meatballs and cook thoroughly (5-6 hours if on low in crockpot or about 45 minutes in a pot).
- When meatballs are almost ready, heat up zucchini noodles slightly in a sauté pan. They should only be warm (1-2 minutes).
- Top zucchini noodles with the meatballs, and tomato sauce and enjoy.
