In specific, stress elevates your cortisol, otherwise known as your stress hormone. High levels of cortisol implicate blood sugar levels, and reproductive hormones. Try incorporating breathing, yoga, walking in nature, journaling, baths, or any other stress management technique that works for you.
3.Eat for those hormones!
It is important to choose foods wisely while focusing on naturally balancing your hormones. Good fats like nuts, seeds, oil and avocado are crucial for your hormones. Quality forms of protein like lean meats, and beans are also important. Leafy greens also play an important role in regulating those hormones.
4.Say goodbye to sugar!
Sugar is the #1 hormone disruptor there is! If you’re looking to balance those hormones naturally, try cutting out all PROCESSED forms of sugar. Go for natural sugars whenever possible like fruits, honey, maple syrup, or coconut sugar.
5.Find the right supplements!
Not only does stress deplete you of vital nutrients needed from foods, it also puts extra stress on those adrenal glands (hormonal powerhouse).
